| Hi, Good to hear that the Print on Demand orders are working and that forum members are pleased with the results. I was given a POD copy of number 59 ANTS and will be reviewing this compared with the original in the New Naturalist Collectors Club Autumn newsletter. If anyone would like a copy, please let me know. all best wishes Tim

| 81 Ladybirds received yesterday. Book arrived by Royal Mail recorded delivery. Well packaged and wrapped so appears to have arrived in the same condition as it left the printers. Cover is a nice reproduction and looks to be hardy enough to survive the years. Book bound well with flat spine and no gold lettering as mentioned on previous messages. Pages cream and a good thick quality, similar to earlier editions in the series. As I've never seen an original copy of this book I can't say if the images are as clear as they should be. Text clear with no apparent errors such as ink smudging. My only fault is a slight drift of the text towards the left hand corner, perhaps a fault with the cutting of the pages prior to binding? I have a mixture of editions in my collection from mint first, to library reading copies. Comparing POD to a new edition such as 110 Wildfowl, you can see a marked difference in quality. Compare POD with a mint first edition of 67 Farming and Wildlife and the difference is minimal. I notice on [My Account] that my order is still showing 'in process' so the book arrived unannounced, with a lead time of about 4 weeks. Something I'm sure will be improved as time goes by. This book is a welcomed edition to my collection and one I may, without POD, have not purchased for many years. The next question is not will I purchase another POD title, but which POD title will I purchase next! A highly recommended service...and one I hope continues for many years. SGE
