Would someone from the Collins team be able to provide an update on the volume of orders already placed for Print-on-Demand, and how the fulfilment is going? I know that it's already been mentioned that the printer said the initial orders could take 28 days, but now that the actual volume of orders has been seen, I was wondering if there was any new information?

| ...also can I ask...do we receive an email update when the books are dispatched? ...and are they sent by courier or royal mail? I prefer royal mail because the local sorting office hold the parcel whereas some couriers have depots miles away! Hope you can help answer these... Regards Sge

Hi Alex,
Just wondering what the POD queue is looking like at the moment? I'm still waiting for an order placed on December 16th, and although I suspect Christmas and the snow may be responsible for some delays, I just wanted to make sure that they hadn't got lost in the post (they don't show on my account history as shipped, but then again, neither does my previous order for Warblers, which arrived months ago!).
thanks,
Brendan

| Hi Brendan, yes there was a large amount of orders over Christmas but when I spoke to the printers yesterday they said they had cleared the backlog and the average turnaround time now is ten days, so if you have not recieved your book I need to look into this. Can you please email newnaturalists@harpercollins.co.uk with your order confirmation email and I will chase up. Thanks Alex
