I wanted to add a poll to one of the forums.  Every time I click on "Add Poll" though I just get sent to the login page, even though I'm already logged in.  I can't find any way of getting around this and think it might be a bug.

Hi Simon, yes sounds like a bug, thanks for letting us know, we will look into it. Hope you like the new site otherwise?

It seems a great improvement, yes!

I'd like to think we'll see some of the stalwarts from the old forum joining in here soon...

Regards

Simon

Very possibly mainly through my own technophobia and technical incompetance, but I cant stand this new site.

Also either I'm not accessing/using it properly (but there again if it is not noddy user intuitive, it fails abysmally), and it seems there has been very very little posting since it was launched.

I also think it lacks basic publication and the old store information.

Such apparent wasted effort, and money, let alone all the HC/NN trumpeting about it, and so little if anything to show for it or improvement.

Taking all of the emotion out of your posting, you are certainly correct in saying that there has been very little activity on here since it was launched. I too have wondered if I am missing something, but no, there really doesn't seem to be much going on which is more than a little surprising, to me at least...

From the front page: "1,431 members have posted 110 posts within 32 topics."

Says it all, really....! You can't force people to participate, but I can't quite understand why they aren't...
