I seem to remember there was an entry previously (by Collins?) on this forum explaining ISBN numbers and how the same book eg Gower will contain different numbers  if it is from different print runs - can anybody help me find that comment please?

Also several members  have complained its not easy to use the site - Not having been on this site for a few months I completely forgot how to post a new topic  - you use the RDD topic button on the top left side under the generalised heading for those who are struggling - Hope this helps

Hello,

There have been two print runs of the book as a HB edition (with no current plans to reprint a third time), and the reprint is indicated on the inside of the book, on the so-called imprint page (page 4), where you will find a line of numbers – if the ‘1’ is missing this means that it is part of the 2nd printing of the book.

The 1st print run was published in October 2009, with an immediate 2nd run following in November of the same year.

Best wishes,
