I recall Peter Marren saying that Ladybirds NN81 was the first NN to reach a £30.00 price tag. Perhaps other collectors would agree with me that it was, it fact Ferns; NN74 which was the first to make £30.00 milestone.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Facsimile Dust Jackets

Here's one to ponder Collins.

Now that Collins are producing POD and facsimile volumes. I wondered whether they will consider producing dust jackets only to order? I have a number of early volumes which I am quite happy with but would love to have a them in their corresponding jackets.

These could be produced and clearly marked as reprints on the inside. It would smarten up many collections without the need for spending £50+ for a book you have already got. it would also be a great "thank you" for customer loyalty!

this would surely not be that difficult to organise. What do others think?
